With innovative concepts of dry fermentation Eggersmann Anlagenbau offers effective systems for productive biogas production

Kompoferm Plus

KOMPOFERM® plus

KOMPOFERM® plus is the extension of the approved concept KOMPOFERM®.
The extended energy concept improves the fermentation process by optimum heat and so the production of gas increases.

Initial situation

The requirements of the international waste industry for high performance systems and complex techniques for waste treatment are becoming increasingly complex.
Here technologies and systems are asked to work effectively and to increase long-term benefits. Even the awareness for renewable energy has grown. Therefore Eggersmann Anlagenbau has developed a method to fulfil the standards of modern recycling.

The process

KOMPOFERM® plus has extended its successful dry fermentation principle KOMPOFERM®, which has been successfully established for many years on the international market. The new systems have a significant change: the perculate  tank is integrated in the concept system. This means the circuits of percolate are considerably shortened and the loss of energy is reduced to a minimum. At the same time the emitted heat from the perculate tank is used effectively and the fermentation process is optimized by the steady supply of heat.
The result: the generation of gas not only starts earlier but increases massively. And by the compact design of the plant KOMPOFERM® Plus, it is an great alternative for areas with a small footprint.

Advantages

The KOMPOFERM® concept has many important advantages.

The fermentation process is optimised by the constant heat influx and the fermentation process is accelerated. The reduced start-up phase benefits the decrease of the required input of energy.  There is less requirement for energy and the generation of biogas increases significantly.

The automatic loading reduces the costs of operation.

The thermophilic operation of the plant ensures a failure free function by the recycling of  all the different wastes with the dry fraction.

The low investment costs, low space requirement and minimum costs of maintenance and operating turn  KOMPOFERM® plus into an attractive process for efficient dry fermentation.
